Health food chain to open in Rancho Cucamonga

Sprouts Farmers Market is looking to hire more than 100 full and part-time employees for its soon-to-open store in Rancho
Cucamonga.

Job openings include department managers, assistant department managers, clerks, cashiers, backup receivers and administrative coordinators, according to a statement released Tuesday.

The new store, scheduled to open May 3 will be located at 6753 Carnelian St south of the Foothill Freeway. It will be the fifth Sprouts’ store to open in California this year and its 100th store in the state.

Details regarding the grand opening ceremony are not yet available.

Based in Phoenix, Sprouts is a health-food grocery store chain that sells fresh, natural and organic foods at reasonable prices. It has more than 250 stores in 13 states and employs more than 24,000 workers, according to the statement.
