A High Desert industrial building occupied by General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. has been sold.
The 30,000-square-foot structure in the IE-North Commerce Center in Adelanto sold for $5.5 million, according to Graystone Capital Advisors, a full-service commercial real estate brokerage in Newport Beach.
Graystone represented the seller, Frontier Enterprises, in the sale negotiations. Frontier was the project’s developer.
Information about the buyer was not released.
General Dynamics, one of the largest defense contractors in the United States, recently signed an agreement to extend its lease on the building at 9841 Bartlett Ave. by three years.
The IE-North Commerce Center covers 480,000 square feet next to the Southern California Logistics Airport. It’s near US-395 and has easy access to Interstates 15 and 40 and State Route 18.
A plan to expand the commerce center by 240,000 square feet has been approved, according to Graystone.
