The Ontario Reign will continue to play at Toyota Arena.
The minor league affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings announced Sept. 30 it has reached a multi-year agreement to continue playing its home games in the city-owned facility, according to a statement.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
The Reign, a member of the American Hockey League, have played in that venue since it opened in 2008 as Citizens Business Bank Arena.
Earlier this year, the Reign won the Pacific Division Championship following a 47-win season. It’s scheduled to begin the 2026-’27 season Oct. 3 at home against the Coachella Valley Firebirds.
“The Ontario Reign has been a premier anchor tenant since Toyota Arena first opened its doors,” said Michael Krouse, GoCal’s president and chief executive officer, in the statement. “The venue represents far more than just ice—it is a gathering place where fans showcase their hometown energy, and where future professional hockey talent is developed.”
GoCal markets tourism in Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga.
