Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center has been recognized for its efforts in women’s healthcare.
Healthgrades, which provides information about physicians, hospitals and health care providers throughout the United States, awarded Pomona Valley its Women’s Care Five Star Excellence Awards for outstanding work in obstetrics and gynecology, gynecological surgery and labor and delivery care, according to a statement.
Pomona Valley was the only one in Los Angeles or the Inland Empire to receive three awards. That puts Pomona Valley in the top five hospitals in the United States in those categories, according to the statement.
