One of the largest food banks in the Inland Empire has received a donation from an Orange County developer.
Feeding America Riverside/San Bernardino is one of 11 food banks nationwide to receive assistance from Bixby Development Co., according to a statement.
“Food banks make an immediate impact and a lasting positive difference in the health and welfare of the community, said Aaron Hill, Bixby’s president and chief executive officer, in the statement. “The donation is a reflection of Bixby Land Company’s mission of pioneering exceptional value and investing in the communities they serve.”
Each agency received a little more than $4,500, according to the statement.
