Inland Empire Company Recognized by Forbes

Esri, the mapping technology company in Redlands, earned the fourth-place ranking in the Forbes 2016 America’s Best Midsize Employers list.

Only L.L. Bean, The Container Store and Novo Nordisk ranked higher in the survey, which questioned 30,000 employees at businesses with at least 1,000 employees, according to a statement.

Respondents were asked how likely they were to recommend their employer to others and how they viewed other companies in their industry.

Esri has approximately 3,500 employees and operates 4,100 offices around the world. Its mapping technology has a variety of uses, including mapping the spreading of diseases or establishing crime patterns, according to the statement.
