Inland Empire Manufacturers Encouraged to Submit Entries for Innovation Awards

Entries accepted through Friday; awards presented at March 26 Summit

The Manufacturers’ Council of the Inland Empire (MCIE) is seeking submissions from the most inventive and resourceful Inland Empire manufacturers to participate in the E=mc² Innovation Awards. Entries will be accepted through this Friday. Winners will be recognized among their peers and the media at the 5th Annual Manufacturers’ Summit, April 26th at the Ontario Convention Center.

With an overall theme of ‘finding solutions to current and future challenges,’ the Inland Empire Manufacturing Summit provides educational and thought-provoking topics to manufacturers, employees, students and the community. MCIE helps area businesses face challenges with extensive resources, networking, events and acknowledgement of their innovations.

The E=mc² Awards showcase inventive and creative solutions for all attendees to see. Award winners are showcased during the conference and granted a presentation to share their innovations on the main stage, receiving publicity for their ideas and company.

“This is such a great way to acknowledge the creativity and innovation of Inland Empire manufacturers,” explains LMA Consulting Group of Claremont president and Innovations Award Chair Lisa Anderson. “Our community is one of the more imaginative and resourceful, and I’m thrilled that we can help build on this success by recognizing innovators amongst their peers for resource efficiency, marketing and workforce development while shining a light on their new ideas and resulting successes.  It is also a great way to build on R&D momentum and to be a catalyst for increasing employee morale.”

Inland Empire area manufacturers are encouraged to participate in this year’s E=mc² Awards. Deadline for completing a submission is March 18, 2016. Additional details can be found at mfgcouncilie.com/innovation-awards/.
