California is outdistancing the nation in job growth, in part because of the number of jobs being added in the Inland Empire, according to a report recently released.
The two-county region, along with the San Joaquin Valley and Sacramento, are adding more jobs – and at a faster rate – than regions that usually see the largest job gains, the latest UCLA Anderson Forecast reported.
In December, Riverside and San Bernardino counties recorded year-over-year job growth of 3.4 percent. During the same period, the Silicon Valley’s job growth increased only 2.2 percent, and the U.S, job growth during that time was 1.5 percent.
