Lety Lopez, award-winning singer and actress, will perform a free concert Aug. 22 at Ontario Town Square.
Lopez, a native of Guadalajara, Jalisco, has won numerous musical competitions in her native country during her 20-year show business career. She has acted and sang at both the national and international level.
“We are pleased that an international sensation like Lety Lopez will be in Ontario for a performance,” said Michael Krouse, president and chief executive officer of the Ontario Convention Center, in a statement. “Ontario Square is a wonderful location where the community and visitors to the area gather for entertainment, from movies
to concerts, market nights and annual events.”
The entertainment is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. with a mariachi performance. Singer Vicky Cabrera will perform at 7 p.m., followed by Lopez at 7:45 p.m. This will be the final performance of Ontario Town Square’s summer concert series.
