Juice It Up! the handcrafted smoothie and fruit bowl chain, has opened a location in Calimesa.
The store at The Marketplace at Calimesa, 1008 Cherry Valley Blvd., is the chain’s first in Calimesa and 51st in the Inland Empire, according to the company’s website.
First-time franchisee Zoey Zahir, a local businessman, and longtime Juice It Up! Patron said in a statement that he plans to open more locations in Riverside County.
The Newport Beach-based chain was founded in 1995. Its products support a “health and active lifestyle,” and the company currently has more than 100 locations either operating or under development in California, Arizona, New Mexico, Oregon, and Texas, according to the statement.
