A Pico Rivera firm will build two industrial buildings in La Verne.
Chalmers Equity Group will develop a 50,000-square-foot and a 33,000-square-foot building at 1300 Palomares St., according to a report first published in the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin.
The three-acre site is one block north of Arrow Highway and next to the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad tracks. Part of the larger building will be a warehouse, and some industrial spaces in both structures will be available for sale or lease, according to the report.
Grading is expected to begin later this month or early June.
Chalmers is removing 15 small to medium-sized oak trees from the site, while eight full-grown trees are being left in place, on order from the city’s development review committee, according to the report.
