A learning center in Fontana that will train people to work in manufacturing jobs opened yesterday.
About 200 people attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Industrial Technical Learning Center [InTech Center], which is located on the campus of California Steel Industries near the Auto Club Speedway of California.
About 2,000 people are expected to attend classes there. The project was put together by a consortium of public and private interests, including Chaffey College and California Steel, according to a statement.
