Casey Lee has been named San Bernardino County Museum’s curator of arts and exhibits.
Lee has worked at the California Museum of Photography, the Norton Simon Museum and the J. Paul Getty Museum, according to a statement on the county’s website.
“With her scholarly background and museum experience, Casey is a perfect addition to our curatorial team,” said Museum Director David Myers in a statement. “Her leadership will be invaluable as we explore opportunities to showcase artwork from our collection.
“The creation of this new role underscores the museum’s commitment to expanding our art collection, enhancing programming, and deepening educational offerings.”
Lee has a bachelor’s degree in art history and administrative studies from UC Riverside and a doctorate in art history from Queen’s University, Kingston, according to the statement.
