Library Receives Funding

The San Bernardino City Library Foundation recently received a $2,500 grant from Stater Bros. Charities.

The money will be used to add titles to the San Bernardino Public Library’s Overdrive eBook and Audiobook collection, according to a statement on the city’s website.

“We are very grateful to Stater Bros. for its grant to benefit our patrons who enjoy our growing collection of eBook and Audiobooks,” said Ed Erjavek, director of the public library, in the statement. “I’d encourage the public to try our eBooks and Audiobooks if they aren’t already enjoying them.”

Started in 2008, Stater Bros. Charities is a non-profit entity that supports causes and organizations in the communities Stater Bros. employees live and work, according to the statement.
