Conservative talk radio icon Rush Limbaugh has joined the lineup of AM590 The Answer in San Bernardino.
The Rush Limbaugh Show began broadcasting on KTIE Monday. It will be heard from 9 a.m. to Noon weekdays, according to a statement released by Salem Communications, KTIE’s owner.
“This is a great time for KTIE,” said Terry Fahy, vice president and general manager of AM590 The Answer, in a statement. “We couldn’t be more excited to offer [Limbaugh’s] show to our listeners in Riverside and San Bernardino counties and across the Inland Empire. Rush Limbaugh will be an excellent addition to the Salem line-up of hosts.”
Limbaugh’s show is broadcast by about 600 radio stations throughout the United States and is heard by about 18 million people week, according to the statement.
Salem Communications is the largest commercial radio station group in the United States that specializes in conservative and Christian radio content, based on audience coverage and number of radio stations. Upon completion of several transactions, Salem will operate 102 stations in 39 markets, according to the statement.
