Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital has leased space at a Fontana shopping center that it will use for pediatric urgent care.
The 8,400-square-foot facility at Highland Village is expected to open early next year, according to Progressive Real Estate Partners in Rancho Cucamonga.
Progressive represented the landlord in the transaction, while LDM Commercial in Redlands represented the hospital. The planned facility, which will treat people up to 21 years old, will be next door to a Sprout’s grocery store.
Terms of the 10-year lease were not disclosed. The facility will be at 16874 S. Highland Road.
Highland Village is at Highland and Sierra avenues next to the Foothill Freeway. More than 50,000 vehicles drive through that intersection on typical day, according to Progressive Real Estate Partners.
Other tenants at Highland Village include Arrowhead Credit Union, Raising Cane’s, Dutch Bros., Jack in the Box, Jersey Mike’s, and Oggi’s Pizza.
