Vickie Lobo of Einstein Realty in Fontana is one of five finalists for REALTOR Magazine’s 2020 Good Neighbor Awards.
The awards honor realtors who make a difference in their communities through volunteer work, according to a statement on the California Association of Realtor’s website.
Lobo, a cancer survivor, founded Knock Knock Angels to give people a fresh start after they’ve dealt with traumatic issues, including domestic violence, homelessness, and drug addiction.
She works with local philanthropic and community organizations to furnish apartments with donated items for people trying to start their lives anew.
Good Neighbor Award winners will receive $10,000, be profiled in Realtor Magazine, and be honored at a virtual conference in November, according to the statement.
