NAIOP Inland Empire has named its leadership board for the upcoming year.
The 41-member board, which was announced earlier this month, will spend the next 12 months carrying out the board’s mission: to advance real estate and economic development in Riverside and San Bernardino counties, according to a statement.
Specifically, this year’s board will focus on legislation that will affect the two-county region and will work to create more unity within the Inland commercial real estate industry.
As always, NAIOP Inland Empire will work to bring about a business-friendly environment in the two-county region, which is still recovering from the recession, said John Condas NAIOP Inland Empire’s president for 2015.
“Industrial activity is leading the recovery in the Inland Empire, generating jobs and economic growth,” said Condas, a partner with Allen Matkins Leck Gamble Mallory & Natsis LLP, in a statement. “NAIOP Inland Empire will continue to work with federal, state, regional and local officials to promote balanced policies [that] facilitate job growth and are protective of the environment.”
Matt Englhard of Alere Property Group will serve as president elect and legislative affairs co-chair, Stephen Batcheller or Panattoni Development Co. will serve as past president and Phill Prassas of KTR will serve as treasurer.
Joe Cesta of CBRE Group Inc. Ontario will be secretary and programs chair, according to the statement.
