Local online MBA programs honored

Two Inland Empire universities have been recognized for their online MBA program by a major publication.

Cal State San Bernardino and California Baptist University in Riverside tied for 124th place in that category with seven other institutions of higher learning nationwide, according to U.S. News & World Report’s Best Online Programs survey.

Cal State San Bernardino achieved the highest ranking of any public university in California.

“I am heartened by this recognition of our online MBA,” said Tomás Gomez-Arias, dean of the Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration at Cal State San Bernardino in a statement. “The flexibility provided by our online graduate degree enables those who are working full time to pursue this next step in building their careers.”

No other college or University from the Inland region made the list, which ranked 366 schools.  Indiana University, University of North Carolina, USC, University of Florida, and Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh made up the top five.
