Logistics Operation Changes Hands

A regional logistics center in San Bernardino has changed hands in a sale-and-leaseback transaction.

The building, at 4472 Georgia Blvd., sold for $27.9 million, according to Colliers International, which helped negotiate the sale.

Industrial Property Trust, a Denver-based company that owns and operates logistics operations throughout the United States, bought the building from McLane Suneast Inc., which distributes groceries, food products and restaurant supplies to nearly 90,000 locations nationwide, Colliers announced recently.

McLane Suneast, which currently occupies the 297,458-square-foot structure, now plans to sign a seven-year lease on the facility. Terms of the pending lease were not disclosed.
