A San Marino developer plans to build an extended-stay hotel in San Bernardino.
Paladin Equity Capital will develop an Everhome Suites at 898 E. Harriman Place near Hospitality Lane, a popular dining and shopping district, according to Progressive Real Estate Partners in Rancho Cucamonga.
Paladin paid $1.7 million for the 1.7-acre site, which is next to Best Buy.
Progressive represented the seller, NHOS Enterprises in Los Angeles. Irish Commercial Brokerage in Manhattan Beach represented Paladin.
The 117-room hotel, which is expected to break ground this summer, will cover 60,000 square feet. Amenities will include apartment-style suites with fully equipped kitchens, work stations, full-size closets, extra storage and bathrooms similar to those found in spas.
The Hospitality Lane district is next to Interstate 10, which has a daily traffic count of approximately 200,000 vehicles. It includes five million square feet of retail, office and hospitality entities, including Costco, Sam’s Club, 24 Hr. Fitness and Aldi. Home Depot, Staples and Buffalo Wild Wings are located there.
Choice Hotels, one of the world’s largest hotel franchisors, recently launched Everhome Suites. Choice Hotels has more than 22 brands and nearly 650,000 rooms worldwide, according to the statement.
