Neil A. Macready has been named Pitzer College’s vice president for college advancement.
Macready, who has more than 30 years experience in fundraising, was selected following a nationwide search of applicants, according to a statement.
He began work March 5th.
Most recently, Macready was vice president and executive director of the Providence Tarzana Foundation, the fundraising arm of the Providence Tarzana Medical Center in the San Fernando Valley.
Before that, he was senior associate dean for advancement at the Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at USC, where he oversaw that organization’s $750 million campaign.
Macready was also vice president for university relations at the University of Redlands from 2007 to 2012, according to the statement.
