About 500 high school students, most from San Bernardino County, are expected to attend the annual Manufacturing Day Expo at the Industrial Technical Learning Center in Fontana, scheduled to be held Friday.
Students will meet with local manufacturers, view exhibits and participate in science, technology, engineering and math programs, according to a statement.
Also, juniors and seniors enrolled in Advanced Manufacturing Career Technical Education Pathways will tour manufacturing sites and meet with employers to learn about writing a resume, interviewing techniques and overall job skills.
Manufacturing Day Expo is sponsored by Chaffey College, the InTech Center, San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools’ Alliance for Education, California Steel Industries and JP Morgan Chase and Co.
