Dr. Dev. A GnanaDev has donated $1 million to the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center Foundation.
The donation matches the largest ever made to the foundation, which is the medical center’s fundraising arm, according to a statement.
A general, vascular and trauma surgeon, GnanaDev is president and chief executive officer of a surgical provider group. He also owns and operates a multi-specialty surgery center and has helped develop technology firms in California and in his native India.
GnanaDev’s donation will help maintain the medical centers’ trauma center and surgery services. GnanaDev helped develop the trauma center, which today is one of the busiest in California and one of only two in San Bernardino County.
Arrowhead Regional is a 465-bed teaching hospital. It’s owned and operated by San Bernardino County and is overseen by the board of supervisors.
