Medical office buildings in Corona change hands

A pair of medical office buildings in Corona have sold for $4.2 million.

The vacant buildings at 818 and 830 Magnolia Ave. sold for $2.1 million each to separate local physicians whose names were not released, according to a statement released by Avison Young.

Both doctors plan to use part of their building and lease the rest.

The seller was a Los Angeles-based private trust. Avison Young represented the seller and the buyer of the building at 830 Magnolia Ave.

No further information about the buyer or seller was released.

Built in 1999, both structures cover approximately 10,400 square feet. They were most recently occupied by a doctor who used both for more than 15 years.

The buildings are in a densely populated area near Interstate 15 and the 91 Freeway, according to the statement.
