Hong Min has taken over as chief executive officer of Southwest Healthcare Temecula Valley Hospital.
Min, who has more than 20 years experience as a healthcare executive, succeeds Darlene Wetton, who was promoted to group vice president of Southwest Healthcare, according to a statement on the hospital’s website.
Before joining Temecula Valley Hospital, Min worked for UCI Health in Los Alamitos, where he was chief operating officer at a 172-bed medical center.
Min has held executive positions with several healthcare organizations, including assistant administrator at Kaiser Permanente South Bay Medical Center. He also helped open a 104-bed hospital at Queen’s Medical Center-West O’ahu in Hawaii.
“I am honored to join the Temecula Valley Hospital team,” Min said in the statement. “I am committed to upholding the hospital’s legacy of high-quality care for our patients and community.”
Hope he can fix emergency room. What a nightmare. I had a note from urgent care from them highlighted STAT. Apparently the ER doesn’t know what that means. I waited from 1:pm to 8:pm to get there’re attention. Ruptured appendix. Was praying I wouldn’t die.
