Monster Beverage Corp. in Corona has decided to keep its top two executives.

Rodney Sacks, the company’s chairman and chief executive officer, and Hilton Schlosberg, its president and chief operating officer, have entered into a new employment agreement with the beverage company and will remain in their respective positions for another four years, according to a report originally published in The Press-Enterprise that cited a federal regulatory filing as its source.

Both Sacks’ and Schlosberg’s four-year agreements with the company ended Dec. 31 but were automatically extended.

Both men will receive $600,000 a year in base pay. Sacks and Schlosberg have made Monster Beverage the leading energy drink company in the United States since they both began working for it in 1990, when the business was known as Hansen Natural Corp., according to the report.
