Tomas Morales, president of Cal State University San Bernardino, has been named co-chair of the Inland Empire Economic Recovery Research Team.
Morales and fellow co-chair Kim Wilcox, chancellor of UC Riverside, will oversee the research team, which is part of the Inland Empire Business and Employment Recovery Task Force, according to a statement on the CSUSB website.
The task force was formed recently to help the Inland Empire deal with the economic damage created by the COVID-19 pandemic. It was created by the Inland Empire Economic Partnership and will consist of an economic recovery team and a workforce recovery team.
Task force members will include leaders from business, government, education, and labor in Riverside and San Bernardino counties, according to the statement.
