Several hundred members of the local real estate industry met last week in Moreno Valley to discuss current and future trends in the Inland Empire real estate market.
Mayor Yxsitian Gutierrez told the annual Inland Empire Real Estate Conference that the two-county region is projected to pass Orange and San Diego counties in population in the next 30 years, and that the city – and the region – must start planning for that growth.
“The connections fostered in Moreno Valley will lay the groundwork for jobs, retail opportunities and housing that current and future residents will need to build their lives here,” Gutierrez was quoted as saying.
