Moreno Valley to recycle oil filters

Moreno Valley will hold a used oil filter exchange Saturday.

The event, part of the city’s ongoing Keep Moreno Valley Beautiful campaign, is scheduled to be held from 9 a.m. to noon at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts, 15105 Perris Blvd., according to a statement on the city’s website.

Residents who turn in used oil filters will receive new filters, which are worth as much $11 each. Anyone participating will receive no more than two filters while supplies last.

Used motor oil will also be accepted for recycling.
