Linda Liles, a kindergarten teacher with the Yucaipa Christian School District, has received the district’s Distinguished Service Award.
Liles, who began teaching at Yucaipa Christian School in 1980, was honored for more than 30 years service, according to a statement.
Liles received the award, one of the highest honors given out by the district, June 3 during an on-campus open house.
“Linda is the epitome of what Yucaipa Christian School is all about,” said James Cochran, the district’s administrator, in a statement. “It gives me great pleasure to present her with this award.”
The district is a non-profit corporation that formed in 2009. Its campuses are accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, according to the statement.
