Nick Walker has been named vice president with CBRE Group Inc. Ontario.
Walker will be a member of CBRE’s national self-storage team and will specialize in the acquisition and disposition of self-storage facilities throughout the United States, according to a statement released Tuesday.
A member of several self-storage associations, Walker most recently spent six years with Marcus & Millichap, where he was consistently ranked among the top performers with that brokerage’s national self-storage team. During his commercial real estate career, Walker has been involved in more than $450 million worth of self-storage transactions, according to the statement.
“CBRE is committed to growth in all property niches and services,” said Kevin Auseff, senior managing director with CBRE Ontario, in the statement. “Nick and his team will further strengthen our market-leading self-storage team, allowing us to provide even more specialized services for our clients and investors nationwide.”
Walker will be joined by Trevor Roberts, a senior associate and former Marcus & Millichap broker. Roberts will focus on self-storage facilities in the western United States, according to the statement.
