Texas Gov. Rick Perry, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and Carly Fiorina, Republican nominee for the U.S. Senate in California in 2010, are all scheduled to attend a gathering of local conservative activists next month in Riverside.
The Unite IE Conservative Conference is scheduled to be held Feb. 21 at the Fox Performing Arts Center, according to a report in The Press-Enterprise.
Perry, Jindal and Fiorina are all considered potential GOP presidential candidates in 2016.
Unite IE is a coalition of about two dozen conservative groups in Riverside and San Bernardino counties. About 600 people attended the first conference last year, and this year’s attendance is expected to top that number, according to the report.
