New Shopping Area Coming to Mills

Ontario Mills will open a new and expanded shopping area April 29.

Fashion Alley will cover approximately 80,000 square feet and will be home to the California Welcome Center that is scheduled to open early next month at the mall’s west entrance, according to a statement posted on the Mills’ website.

Several name-brand outlet stores and restaurants, including The North Face, Original Penguin, Samsonite, Uniqlo and Blaze Pizza will be located there.

Also, three of the Mills’ current retailers – Tommy Hilfiger, Nautica and Coach – are expanding and moving into Fashion Alley, according to the statement.

“The Fashion Alley redevelopment demonstrates how committed we are to meeting the demands of the millions of shoppers that visit Ontario Mills each year,” said Marc Smith, General Manager and Vice President for Ontario Mills, in the statement. “Not only are we attracting new, internationally celebrated brands, we’re excited to see our current retailers grow and evolve with us.”

Some stores will open next week, but others are scheduled to open throughout the summer, according to the statement.
