A nationwide provider of occupational health services has opened an office in Corona.
Concentra’s 8,000-square-foot facility at 629 N. Main St. opened Dec. 8, said Dominique McDermott, company spokeswoman.
Six people work there now, and more employees are expected to be added as the office attracts more business, McDermott said.
The Corona office will treat work injuries, provide physical therapy and drug testing, and conduct physical and pre-placement exams. Telemedicine for minor work injuries will also be available.
“We’re excited to bring our medical services to Corona,” said Dr. Kathy Le, senior vice president of Concentra, in a statement. “It’s a great opportunity for us to expand access to care for employers and employees in the area.”
Concentra is a based in Addison, Texas. It employs more than 13,000 doctors and clinicians at 628 occupational health centers and 409 onsite health clinics, according to the statement.
