OIA begins online parking service

Anyone flying out of Ontario International Airport may now reserve airport parking online.

The four-step program is available at www.flyontario.com and is designed to help anyone who drives themselves to the airport, according to a statement released this by the Ontario International Airport Authority.

After accessing the website, users are asked to enter a check-in and return date. The person then chooses a parking package, makes a payment online and scans a barcode to exist the parking lot.

“Flights and hotels are booked in advance.” said Martin Jones, president and chief executive officer of MAG USA, developer of the online reservation system, in the statement. “There is no reason for parking to be such a guessing game. This service removes the stress of wondering if there will be an affordable parking spot waiting for you.”

Daily and valet parking are still available via the airport’s online prepay system, according to the statement.
