Moreno Valley City Councilwoman LaDonna Jempson has been named a Woman of Distinction by Assemblyman Jose Medina, D-Riverside.
Jempson received her award March 19th at the annual Distinction award luncheon, according to a statement released by the city.
Award winners were praised for making significant contributions to their communities. Jempson was recognized for being a role model for young women in the 61st Assembly District, which Medina represents.
“The recognition was an incredible honor, and I was humbled to be in the same room with so many amazing women who offer their time and talents to better their communities,” Jempson said in the statement.
