Charles W. Singleton III has been named senior vice president in the Inland Empire by California United Bank.
Singleton, who will work out of the bank’s Ontario office, was formerly first vice president and team leader with Pasadena-based Community Bank and a senior relationship manager with Wachovia Bank and Wells Fargo Bank, according to a statement.
Singleton’s appointment was announced Thursday.
“Charles has deep roots in the Inland Empire business community and we are very pleased to add him to our team,” said K. Brian Horton, president of California United Bank and CU Bancorp, in the statement. “Charles’ knowledge of the community and banking experience will play an integral part in expanding our presence there.”
Singleton, a graduate of the University of Redlands, is a member of the advisory board of AmPac CDC, a Certified Development Company of the Small Business Association. The association arranges SBA 504 loans to new and expanding businesses in California.
