Major Gen. Randall J. Ogden has taken command of headquarters, Fourth Air Force, at March Air Reserve Base.
Ogden took over during a change-of-command ceremony last month that was officiated by Lt. Gen. Maryanne Miller, chief of the Air Force Reserve in Washington, D.C., according to a statement on the March website.
Ogden, who began his Air Force career in 1983 in Alabama as an undergraduate pilot training student, most recently worked in the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., where he was deputy director for global policy and partnerships.
In that job, Ogden advised the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the director for Strategic Plans and Policy on global and functional matters, according to the statement.
