Tammi Graham has been named executive director of First 5 Riverside.

Graham has more than 15 years experience working with public health and early childhood development, most recently as a deputy chief with San Bernardino County’s Department of Public Health, according to a release.

Graham has also worked with Colorado’s Division of Community and Family Support, working as a director in the Office of Early Childhood.

First 5 Riverside is a division of Riverside County’s Department of Public Social Services. It provides grants to nearly 50 county programs, including early care/preschool scholarships, workforce development and general health care, according to the release.

“I am honored to be appointed the new director of First 5 Riverside and to be able to be a part of the important work Riverside County is doing to support families and young children,” Graham said in a statement.

Graham is scheduled to start work Monday.
