Charlie Zhang, founder of Pick Up Stix, the fast-food chain, will be one several featured speakers Friday at TEDx at La Sierra University.

The daylong program, a series of short talks on business-oriented topics, is scheduled to take place at the Troesh Conference Center at the Zapara School of Business.

Check-in is scheduled to start at 8 a.m., followed by a parade of speakers between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., according to the event’s website.

Others speakers will include Paul C. Dickau, executive director Help for the Hurting, Helping Hands Pantry; Tania Garrett Mulry, a technology entrepreneur; musicians Mike Johnston and Alpin Hong; and Ryan Berk, founder of Redlands-based A La Minute Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt.
