Redlands Chamber of Commerce Gets New President
As one Redlands Chamber of Commerce president prepares to step down, another one is stepping into his place.

The Chamber’s new president-elect is Jill Riley, co-owner of Citrus Valley Plumbing, a 24-hour plumbing service based in Redlands. Riley has taken over for Geoff Bonney, who is stepping down due to his business expanding outside of the Inland Empire. “I’m super excited,” Riley said. “It’s been about two weeks now, but the past couple of months I’ve already done council meetings, board meetings, ribbon cuttings and some other things.”

As president, Riley plans to continue maintaining the programs that the Chamber currently offers business owners. The programs include Rise N Shine meetings held at the University of Redlands, and Business to Business networking events at the Chamber offices. Both networking programs meet monthly and are open to all Chamber members.

Riley has been a member of the Redlands Chamber for six years; as president, one of her objectives is to expose more small businesses in Redlands to the benefits of Chamber membership. “One of my goals is to get out there and let some of the smaller businesses know what the Chamber has to offer,” she said. “I’d really like to get out there and talk to those businesses to let them know what programs are available.”
