Erin Phillips has been named executive director of the Riverside University Health System Foundation.
Phillips, 34, is scheduled to take over her new position Oct. 5, according to a report in The Press-Enterprise.
The non-profit health system is a revamped version of Riverside County Regional Medical Center, which is owned by Riverside County, and its network of clinics.
A Riverside resident, Phillips is currently president and chief executive officer of Children’s Fund, which helped more than 6,000 at-risk youth during the last fiscal year.
Children’s Fund also helped San Bernardino County open a facility to treat children who have been sexually abused, the report stated.
