San Bernardino County District Attorney Michael Ramos has personally thanked President Barack Obama for meeting with victims of the Dec. 2 terrorist shooting in San Bernardino, their families and first responders to the tragedy.
Ramos thanked Obama during a brief meeting he had with the president during Obama’s recent visit to Rancho Mirage, according to a report in the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin.
Obama and the first lady met with those parties shortly before Christmas at Indian Springs High School in San Bernardino.
Ramos, who shortly after the meeting tweeted that he had met with the president and thanked him, was one of several local law enforcement officials who were invited to speak with the chief executive, the report stated.
