ONT nearly back to pre-pandemic passenger levels

ONT adds parking lot

Ontario International Airport has opened a reduced-rate parking lot to help with holiday traveling season.

Customers will be charged $15 a day to park in Lot 6, located just east Terminal 4 and across the street from Lot 5, according to a statement on the airport’s website.

The new parking lot adds 1,337 parking spaces to the airport. Free-of-charge shuttle service is available to all terminals, including the international terminal, from Lot 6.

“We’ve been preparing for a busy holiday season, and this additional parking capacity is arriving at just the right time,”  said Atif Elkadi, the Ontario International Airport Authority’s chief executive officer, in the statement. “We’re confident the competitive pricing for on-airport parking will resonate with our customers.”

Ontario International’s passenger count has topped pre-pandemic levels for the last eight months, and a busy holiday travel season is expected, according to airport officials.
