Ontario International Airport accommodated 575,623 passengers in April, a 0.4 percent year-over-year increase, according to a report.
That marks the 50th consecutive month the airport’s passenger count has grown, a streak that began in March 2021, the Ontario International Airport Authority reported May 22.
Domestic passengers – 539,067 – were up 0.4 percent – while international travelers – 36,556 – rose by 0.6 percent. During the first four months of 2025, Ontario International welcomed more than two million air travelers, 0.5 percent more than the first quarter of 2024.
“Our airline partners continued to show their confidence in our airport in April, increasing seats offered on flights by eight percent,” said Atif Elkadi, the airport authority’s chief executive officer, in the statement. “The additional seats will make travel to and from Ontario this summer even easier.”
Also in April, Ontario International handled 71,114 tons freight and mail, a 16.6 percent from one year earlier, the authority reported.
