ONT nearly back to pre-pandemic passenger levels

ONT ranks high with its passengers

Ontario International Airport has been given high marks in customer satisfaction by a well-known consumer intelligence company.

The airport earned the highest ranking among California airports and the third highest ranking among medium-size airports in the J.D. Power 2023 North American Airport Satisfaction Study, which was released Sept. 20.

Ontario International scored  834 out of 1,000 possible points, the highest score of any California airport in the three airport categories studied: mega, large, and medium.

The J.D. Power rankings are based on surveys of more than 27,000 U.S. and Canadian residents who traveled through at least one airport in either country within the last month.

Six categories were rated:  terminal facilities, airport arrival/departure, baggage claim,  security check, check-in/baggage check, and food, beverage, and retail, according to a statement on Ontario International’s website.
