Palm Springs’ dog park will shut down for its yearly maintenance and overseeding.
The popular park behind City Hall will close Thursday and reopen Dec. 20, according to a statement on the city’s website.
In the meantime, a dog park will be available temporarily at Demuth Park, 4200 E. Mesquite Ave. It will be open daily from dawn to dusk.
“Palm Springs and our parks and recreation commission are pleased to once again provide a secure dog park at Demuth while maintenance and overseeding is performed at our [regular] dog park,” said Cynthia Crawford-Alvarado, Palm Springs’ parks and recreation director, in a statement. “We thank Palm Springs residents for their patience.”
