Palm Springs is scheduled to hold a Town Hall meeting Monday regarding CV Link, the proposed 50-mile alternative transportation route that would run through much of the Coachella Valley.
The meeting will be conducted by Councilwoman Ginny Foat and Councilman Chris Mills, according to a statement.
It will be held at 6 p.m. in the city council chamber at city hall, 3200 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way. The session will include a presentation by the Coachella Valley Association Governments, the project’s lead agency.
Anyone unable to attend the meeting can watch it live on Palm Springs Community Television, Ch. 17, or follow the proceedings online at CoachellaValleyLink.com.
CV Link would run largely along the Whitewater Channel. It’s intended to promote healthy living and ecotourism and would accommodate bicycles, low-speed electric vehicles and pedestrians, according to the statement.
