Palm Springs is scheduled to hold its annual State of the City address Sept. 19.
Mayor Robert Moon will begin his remarks at 5:30 p.m. in the Annenberg Theatre at the Palm Springs Art Museum, 101 Museum Drive, according to a statement.
The Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce will host the event.
Free seating will be available to anyone who only wants to hear the speech. For paid attendees, a reception will be held from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m at Eight4Nine Restaurant & Lounge, 849 N. Palm Canyon Drive.
Afterwards, anyone who paid their way in will get a tour of the rooftop pool and bar at the Rowan Hotel by Kimpton, a 153-room facility scheduled to open this fall in downtown Palm Springs.

The State of the City address will be broadcast on during September on Palm Springs Community Television Ch. 17. It will also be available at www.palmspringsca.gov, according to the statement.
